The present invention relates to a method for cultivation of Saururus chinensis with an increased amount of a gastritis inhibiting substance, which comprises culturing the Saururus chinensis leaf with an enzyme enzyme hydrolyzate, and a composition for preventing or treating gastritis containing the Saururus chinensis extract prepared thereby. According to the present invention, the productivity of the pharmacologically active compound can be increased by applying the production inducing technique to the non-cultivated Saururus chinensis. In addition, Saururus chinensis extract with increased gastric inhibitory effect was found to be highly effective in inhibiting epithelial cell damage, gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammation and ulcer formation.본 발명은 삼백초의 잎에 이스트 효소 분해물을 처리하여 재배하는 것을 특징으로 하는 위염 억제물질이 증가된 삼백초의 재배방법, 이로부터 제조된 삼백초 추출물을 함유하는 위염 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면 노지 재배한 삼백초에 대한 생산유도 기술을 적용함으로써 약리활성 화합물의 생산성을 증대시키는 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 또한 위염 억제물질이 증가된 삼백초 추출물은 상피세포 손상, 위출혈, 염증 및 궤양 생성 억제 효과가 현저히 우수한 것으로 확인되었다.
