PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard net material constituted by imparting property especially required when it is used for specific applications and a method for manufacturing the same, with respect to a hard net material from a synthetic resin.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method comprises: a net knitting step of knitting a knotless net with a constituting yarn which uses a yarn containing resin components that are melted by heating a holding step of temporarily holding specific functional materials among a plurality of constituting yarns that form net yarns, to the net yarn formed in a state in which a plurality of the constituting yarns are twisted in the net knitting step and a heat treatment step of heating a mesh while keeping the shape of the mesh into approximately rectangular shape. A hard net material comprises: the net yarn formed in a state in which a plurality of the constituting yarns are twisted and the specific functional material which is held among a plurality of the constituting yarns that form net yarns.
