PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel which can smoothly rotate a spool at initial period of casting for improving the flying distance and can impart suitable braking force to the spool to effectively prevent backlashes, without having to unnecessarily lower the flying distance, at the final period of casting.SOLUTION: An elastic member 70 is disposed on the outer periphery of a spool shaft 5 as a resistance-imparting member which is in contact with a mobile member 25 moved in the axial direction, in response to the rotation of a spool 3 to impart resistant force to the mobile member 25 in a spinning reel 1. Thus, the mobile member 25 is smoothly moved without having to relate to the energizing force or form of a spring member 60 acting on the mobile member 25 in the final period of casting, when the rotation rate of the spool 3 is lowered, and a conductor 40 can thereby slowly be separated from a magnetic field in a not suddenly changing state.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】キャスティングの初期においてはスプールをスムーズに回転させて飛距離の向上を図ることができるとともに、キャスティングの終期においては飛距離を不必要に低下させることなくスプールに適度な制動力を付与してバックラッシュを効果的に防止できる魚釣用リールの提供を目的としている。【解決手段】本発明の一実施形態に係る魚釣用リール1では、スプール3の回転に応じて軸方向に移動する移動体25と接触して該移動体25に抵抗力を付与する抵抗力付与部材としての弾性部材70がスプール軸5の外周に設けられている。そのため、スプール3の回転速度が低下するキャスティング終期においては、移動体25に対して作用するバネ部材60の付勢力あるいは付勢形態にかかわらず移動体25を滑らかに移動させて、導電体40を急激な変化のない状態でゆっくりと磁界内から離間させることができる。【選択図】図2
