The invention discloses a retina stimulation apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof. The apparatus comprise a pixel unit, a power supply and a flexible substrate and packaging. The pixel unit and power supply are disposed on the flexible substrate and covered by the flexible material, and the power supply can supply power to the pixel unit after being charged. Each pixel unit comprises a photo sensor, a processing & driving unit and a stimulating electrode. The photo sensor detects the incident light and provides a sensing signal to the processing unit, and the processing unit generates a stimulation signal with appropriate wave form and strength to the stimulating electrode according to the sensing signal.
