The present invention relates to an apparatus to remove weeds occurring partially in lawn and to aerate the lawn. More specifically, the present invention relates to an apparatus for removing weeds and aerating lawn, comprising: a pulling unit having a plurality of hooks in a harpoon shape arranged vertically on the bottom portion of a certain support, wherein each hook includes one or more metal scales at an end portion a vertical driving unit (20) driving the pulling unit to perform a reciprocating motion vertically and a transferring unit having a frame to accommodate the pulling unit and the vertical driving unit (20) and two or more moving wheels. The apparatus for removing weeds and aerating lawn is designed in such a manner that when the apparatus moves along the lawn, the vertical driving unit (20) operates. Therefore, part of creeping stems and roots of grasses are cut by the hooks in the pulling unit.
