PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter assembly capable of preventing or suppressing vibrations in the radial direction inside a catheter body of a transmission/reception part when a shaft is rotated.SOLUTION: The catheter assembly 1 includes: a catheter body 21 to be inserted into a living body lumen a drive shaft 4 inserted into the catheter body 21 and rotated around the axis an imaging means 5 provided with a transmission/reception part 52 fixed to the part on the distal end side of the drive shaft 4, for fetching signals for forming an image inside the living body lumen while being rotated together with the drive shaft 4 and a distal end member 7 supported on the more distal end side than the transmission/reception part 52 of the drive shaft 4.
