[Problem] To provide a device for detecting fluid flow rate, the device being capable of obtaining assessments that are medically appropriate. [Solution] The velocity of a fluid flowing in a luminal tissue inside a living body is determined. Vθ(r, θ) = w∙V-θ + (1-w)∙V+θ is computed to compute a calculated value Vθ(r, θ) for the fluid flow rate of the component orthogonal to the direction of the ultrasound beam. For at least a previously determined distance from one wall of the tissue, the weight (w) here is a value that is proportional to the distance (d) from the one wall and for a previously determined distance from the other wall of the tissue, the weight is proportional to the distance (d) from the other wall.[Problème] Fournir un dispositif de détection de débit de liquide, le dispositif pouvant obtenir des évaluations qui sont médicalement appropriées. [Solution] La vitesse dun liquide Sécoulant dans un tissu luminal à lintérieur dun corps vivant est définie. Vθ (r, θ) = w∙V-θ + (1-w)∙V+θ est calculée pour calculer une valeur calculée Vθ (r, θ) pour le débit de liquide de la composante orthogonale par rapport à la direction du faisceau ultrasonore. Pour au moins une distance préalablement déterminée à partir dune paroi du tissu, le poids (w) ici est une valeur qui est proportionnelle à la distance (d) de la paroi et à une distance préalablement définie à partir de lautre paroi du tissu, le poids est proportionnelle à la distance (d) depuis lautre paroi.【課題】医学的見地から妥当な評価を得ることのできる流体流速検出装置を提供する。 【解決手段】生体内部の管腔状組織内を流れる流体の速度を求める。Vθ(r,θ)=w・V-θ+(1-w)・V+θを演算し、流体の超音波ビーム方向に直交する成分に係る流速の計算値Vθ(r,θ)を演算する。ここで重みwは、少なくとも組織の一方側の壁から予め定めた距離までは、当該一方側の壁からの距離dに比例し、組織の他方側の壁から予め定めた距離までは、当該他方側の壁からの距離dに比例する値とする。
