PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide porous polyamide microparticles for a cosmetic composition and a cosmetic composition containing the same, which, when applied to the skin, are superior in optical transparency and light scattering, have high soft-focus performance, and are capable of not only imparting a translucent effect but also suppressing a second aggregation during dry periods, and feel slippery and agreeable and to provide a cosmetic composition containing the microparticles.SOLUTION: Disclosed are the porous polyamide microparticles for the cosmetic composition, which consist of a crystal structure wherein a crystalite size is 12 nm or more in terms of wide angle x-ray analysis and a degree of crystallinity is 50% in terms of DSC.
