A method of cleaning caramel coloring solution comprising: combining caramel coloring solution with an adsorbent, wherein the adsorbent removes 4-MeI to give a purified solution of caramel coloring, separation of purified solution of caramel coloring adsorbenta.2. A method according to claim 1, wherein the adsorbent is selected from the group consisting of activated carbon, zeolites, diatomaceous earth and synthetic polymeric smol.3. A method according to claim 1 or 2, further comprising, before combining the caramel coloring solution with an adsorbent caramel raising the pH of the dye solution to improve grip 4-MeI adsorbentom.4. A method according to claim 3, wherein the pH is raised by mixing caramel coloring solution with schelochyu.5. A method according to claim 4, wherein the alkali is NaOH, KOH or their smes.6. A method according to claim 4 or 5, wherein the amount of alkali is effective to increase the pH of caramel dye solution to at least 6,5.7. A method according to claim 6, wherein the amount of alkali is effective to increase the pH of caramel coloring solution to a level of 6.5 to 9.8. A method according to any one of claims 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, further comprising adding an acid in the purified caramel dye solution to reduce the pH to below 5.9. A method according to claim 8, wherein the acid is HCl, HPO, citric acid or their smes.10. A method according to claim 8, wherein the amount of acid is effective to reduce the pH of the caramel coloring solution to a level of from 2 to 4.11. A method according to claim 8, further comprising adding an acid after exposure to the acidified solution of caramel coloring filtration to further remove soley.12.
