PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a tape from going backward as to a binding machine for gardening. SOLUTION: The tip end of a leaf spring 16 provided in a driver handle 2 is elastically contacted to the ceiling face near the front end of the handle. By forming the bottom end part of the front wall face of the handle as a tape pulling out opening 15, a tape comes out from the opening 15 downward curved sharply with the tip end of the spring 16 as a boundary. When the tape is pulled backward by a tape roll in a tape magazine turned in a reverse direction owing to a vibration, etc., the tape T is prevented from moving backward because the tape is curved sharply at the tip end of the spring 16 for upward pulling force to be applied to the spring 16 and for causing the tape T to be pressed against the ceiling face of the handle.
