A sheath for an endoscope is provided that includes: a first tubular member； a holding hole； a stopper member； a contact member； a second tubular member including a longitudinal axis direction through-hole, a locking portion, a movement range setting hole that is a long hole leading to the longitudinal axis direction through-hole and that sets a longitudinal axis direction movement range of the contact member, and a positioning hole； a positioning and fixing member that positions and fixes a first stopper member with respect to the second tubular member； and a knob portion that is fixed to the contact member.
