PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handling appliance for an endoscope capable of certainly connecting and fixing the rear end part of a coil pipe to an operation part without causing operation failure or the like even in a state that an operation wire is inserted through the coil pipe.
SOLUTION: The vicinity of the rear end 1a of a flexible sheath 1 is inserted and arranged in the through-hole 16, of which the diameter is larger than the outer diameter of the flexible sheath 1 and smaller than the outer diameter of a break preventing coil 4, formed to the operation part 10, and the break preventing coil 4 is fixed to the flexible sheath 1 by laser welding to arrange the rear end surface of the break preventing coil 4 at the position coming into contact with the mouth on the leading end side of the through-hole 16 while the slip-off preventing member 20 made of a metal coming into contact with the mouth on the rear end side of the through-hole 16 is fixed to the vicinity of the rear end 1a of the flexible sheath 1 by laser welding.
