PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photopolymerize and cure a necessary site where light hardly reaches or where intensified light is required, such as the deep site in a dental use photocurable composition, without scattering the light until it reaches a target site.
SOLUTION: The optical fiber for dental use can be used for polymerizing and curing the photocurable composition. With this optical fiber, the light incident from one end of emitting portion can be emitted to another light emitting end or a side wall.
