PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mower where multiple cutting blades subject to vertical axial drive are equipped in parallel transversely in a deck opened downward, ensuring grass to be cut off finely in high efficiency.SOLUTION: The mower has the following construction and mechanism: Cutting chambers 24 and 25 of nearly circular planar shape along the tip turning track of the cutting blades 8 and 9 are formed for each of the cutting blades 8 and 9 in the deck 7. The cutting blades 8 and 9 adjacent to each other are subjected to rotating drive oppositely to each other. An opening 26 allowing cut grass to be passed therethrough is formed in between the cutting chambers 24 and 25 for the cutting blades 8 and 9 adjacent to each other.
