PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, a program, and an image processing method capable of preventing the generation of a region which is not observed due to deletion of a part of images or controlling the frequency of generation when an image summarization process is carried out by deleting a part of the images.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: an image sequence acquisition unit 200 for acquiring an image sequence having a plurality of images and a processing unit 100 for carrying out an image summarization process for deleting a portion of the plurality of images in the acquired image sequence to acquire a summarized image sequence.
