PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiprotozoan composition useful to keratitis, especially acanthamoeba keratitis which is one of eye infection due to wearing contact lenses.SOLUTION: An antiprotozoan composition includes caspofungin (a kind of macrocyclic lipopeptide echinocandin, also named as 1-[(4R,5S)-5-[(2-aminoethyl)amino]-N-(10R,12S-10,12-dimethyl-1-oxotetradecyl)-4-hydroxy-L-ornithin]-5-[(3R)-3-hydroxy-L-ornithin]pneumocandin B) or its salt, and a biguanide-based compound or its salt. As the biguanide-based compound, polyhexanide, chlorhexidine and alexidine are preferably cited.【課題】角膜炎、特にコンタクトレンズ装用による眼感染症のひとつであるアカントアメーバ角膜炎に対して、有用な抗原虫組成物の提供。【解決手段】カスポファンギン（大環状リポペプチドエキノキャンディンの１種であり、１－［（４Ｒ，５Ｓ）－５－［（２－アミノエチル）アミノ］－Ｎ２－（１０Ｒ，１２Ｓ－１０，１２－ジメチル－１－オキソテトラデシル）－４－ヒドロキシ－Ｌ－オルニチン］－５－［（３Ｒ）－３－ヒドロキシ－Ｌ－オルニチン］ニューモカンジンＢ０ともいう。）またはその塩、およびビグアニド系化合物またはその塩を含有する抗原虫組成物。該ビグアニド系化合物としては、ポリヘキサニド、クロルヘキシジン、アレキシジンであることが好ましい。【選択図】なし
