It is disclosed a fish farming structure for use semi-submerged at the water surface in open sea and during severe weather conditions, the fish farming structure comprising: 5 - at least a first support device and a second support device, - a net structure that extends between the first support device and the second support device and forms an enclosure between the first support device and the second support device, in which enclosure fish will be kept, wherein the first support device and the second support device are independently 10 moored and wherein the net structure is flexible, and wherein the support devices are floating and submergible to a desired level and the lower part of the support devices is provided with at least one ballast tank each for adjustment of the draft of the support devices and for hydrostatic stability of the support devices.
