The invention relates to a tomato plant with branch chain transformation phenotype, which provides significantly high statistical yield of mature fruit, which has average weight performance of a single fruit or average short performance of a single fruit or a combination thereof. The characteristics of the present invention are similar to the fruits produced by the tomato line, which is used as the paternal line of the common branch of the tomato plant. The invention also relates to a method for preparing the tomato plant and its use.La présente invention concerne un plant de tomate présentant un phénotype à inflorescence ramifiée. Ledit plant fournit un rendement significativement élevé d'un point de vue statistique en fruits mûrs ayant des propriétés de poids moyen par fruit individuel ou de degrés brix moyens par fruits individuel ou une combinaison de ces propriétés, qui sont similaires à celles des fruits produits par une lignée de tomate qui est employée comme lignée parent normalement ramifiée dudit plant de tomate. L'invention a également pour objet des procédés pour produire lesdits plants de tomate et leurs utilisations.
