(1) A modified bathohibin obtained by binding polyethylene glycol that has a solubility at pH 7.4 (25 ° C) of 1 mg / mL or more, and (2) has an anti-angiogenic action. Since the modified bathohibin of the present invention has high solubility in the vicinity of neutrality, it is suitably used for the treatment of diseases that require an anti-angiogenic effect.(１)pH7.4における溶解度(25℃)が1mg/mL以上である、及び(２)血管新生抑制作用を有する、を満たすポリエチレングリコールが結合してなるバソヒビン修飾体。本発明のバソヒビン修飾体は、中性付近における溶解性が高いことから、血管新生抑制効果を要する疾患の治療等に好適に用いられる。
