PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an acicular body capable of easily producing an acicular body while preventing damaging in an intaglio.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing an acicular body 1 provided with a substrate 11 and an acicular part 13 projected from either face 11a of the substrate 11, including: a first step of feeding an acicular part formation solution containing a material for forming the acicular part 13 on the acicular body intaglio 3 having a recessed part with a shape corresponding to the acicular part 13 a second step of removing a liquid component from the acicular formation solution fed to the surface the acicular body intaglio 3 so as to be solidified to form a solidified body 4 a third step of cutting the solidified body 4 to pre-set shape and size to form the acicular body 1 and a fourth step of removing the formed acicular body from the acicular body intaglio 3.
