The present invention relates to a novel brominated furanone derivative, a method for preparing the same, and a pharmaceutical composition containing the same as an active ingredient, wherein the novel brominated furanone derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof according to the present invention exhibits a quorum sensing inhibitory activity of bacteria and also can effectively inhibit the formation of a biofilm of a bacteria, and thus can be used as a pharmaceutical composition containing the same as an active ingredient, thereby having an effect of being useful, for example, for periodontal diseases such as gingivitis and periodontitis, oral diseases, and the like.본 발명은 신규한 브롬화 퓨라논 유도체, 이의 제조방법 및 이를 유효성분으로 함유하는 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 신규한 브롬화 퓨라논 유도체 또는 이의 약학적으로 허용 가능한 염은 세균의 쿼럼센싱 억제 활성을 나타내며, 또한, 세균의 생체막(biofilm) 형성을 효과적으로 억제할 수 있어, 이를 유효성분으로 함유하는 약학적 조성물로서 사용되어, 예를 들어 치은염, 치주염과 같은 치주질환, 구강질환, 등에 유용한 효과가 있다.
