PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve having improved slit closing function and preventing back-flow, and also to provide a medical catheter equipped with the check valve.SOLUTION: The check valve used in a medical catheter comprises a base 11 which is made, as a whole, of an elastomer such as a silicone rubber and is formed in an annular plate, and a body 12 which extends downward from the base while being narrowed down by two inclining side walls that face each other and has a lower end having a flat and elongated square shape. A slit 16 is formed in the lower end of the body 12.
