PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for cutaneous administration for activating or protecting the skin, and to provide a use of the composition.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a composition for cutaneous administration, and a use of the composition which contains a) an effective amount of a motoneuronotrophic factor (MNTF) peptide comprising the amino acid sequence (FSRYAR) expressed by SEQ ID NO:2, and b) cosmetically, dermatologically or pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. And the cutaneous activation or protection is the one selected from the group consisting of a reduction or inhibition of inflammation or free radical damage associated with optical damage, a reduction of cutaneous ultraviolet damage or optical damage, a promotion of cutaneous regeneration, a promotion of hyaluronic acid generation within the skin, and a reduction of keloid on the skin.【課題】皮膚を活性化又は保護するための皮膚適用用組成物、及び該組成物の使用を提供する。【解決手段】ａ）配列番号２に示すアミノ酸配列（ＦＳＲＹＡＲ）を含む、有効量の運動ニューロン栄養因子（ＭＮＴＦ）ペプチドと、ｂ）美容的、皮膚科学的又は薬学的に許容される担体とを含み、前記皮膚の活性化又は保護が、光損傷に関連した炎症又はフリーラジカル損傷の低減又は阻害、皮膚の紫外線損傷又は光損傷の低減、皮膚の再生の促進、皮膚内でのヒアルロン酸生産の促進、及び、皮膚上のケロイドの低減、からなる群より選択される一つである、皮膚適用用組成物、及び該組成物の使用。【選択図】なし
