Therefore, the artificial waterweed island is comprised of a buoyancy material formed in a structure in which all sides are clogged and formed as a plurality of bolts are welded and fixed at both corresponding side surfaces； a structure body in which a bolt groove is formed so as to fix the buoyancy material at the bottom surface and forming a model of the artificial waterweed island； and a vegetation mat unit fixed at the upper surface of the structure body and in which aquatic plants are planted so as to be floating on the surface of water in rivers, lakes, etc.본 발명은 하천이나 호수 또는 인공습지 등에 수질개선 및 경관창출을 목적으로 사용되는 인공수초섬에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 제작시 사용되는 부력재를 스테인리스 스틸 등으로 제작하여 수생식물의 생장에 방해받지 않도록 하며 상부에 인공조형물을 견고하게 부착할 수 있는 인공수초섬에 관한 것이다.따라서, 사방이 막혀있는 구조로 형성하고 대응하는 양쪽면에 복수개의 볼트가 용접고정되어 형성된 부력재；와 상기 부력재를 하면에 고정하도록 볼트홈이 형성되고 인공수초섬의 모형을 형성하는 구조체；와 상기 구조체 상면에 고정하며 수생식물을 식재하여 하천이나 호수 등의 수면상에 부유가능하게 구비되는 식생매트부；를 포함하여 이루어진다.
