The present utility model refers to the technological sector of furniture and upholstery, and refers, more specifically, to an internal articulation device for mattresses. This articulation foresees the use especially in split mattresses, in order to be used to recline the headboard. In general, the proposed solution provides for a mechanical assembly based on the inside of the mattress and fixed by fastening elements to a rod located on the outside of the mattress to support the reclining headboard. The proposed solution aims to create a split mattress with a reclining headboard where it presents a simple constructivity, without exposing the articulated base of the headboard. Another objective of the solution described in the proposed patent application now proposed is to perform the recline of the entire headboard, eliminating the need to horizontally separate the mattress or headboard. Thus, it does not compromise the user's comfort, either in the horizontal position or in the reclined position.
