The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a plastic orthodontic appliance, which can minimize production costs of a mold. The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a plastic orthodontic appliance, which comprises the steps of: a) obtaining a set of three-dimensional image data on dentition in each of a series of orthodontic stages； b) manufacturing a basic mold； c) manufacturing a partial mold having a shape of dentition in each stage, which belongs to the set of the three-dimensional image data, with a material different from that of the basic mold； d) joining the basic mold with the partial mold to manufacture a mold for dentition in the stage； e) using the mold for dentition to thermoform a plastic sheet, thereby manufacturing a plastic sheet having cavities with shapes of dentition and gum； f) cutting some part of the cavities-formed plastic sheet to manufacture a plastic orthodontic appliance； g) removing the basic mold from the partial mold； and h) repeating the step c) to step g) to manufacture a set of a series of plastic orthodontic appliances. According to the method for manufacturing a plastic orthodontic appliance of the present invention, a basic mold is used for manufacturing a mold for dentition to minimize an amount of used resins. Consequently, costs for manufacturing a mold can be minimized, thereby minimizing costs for manufacturing a set of plastic orthodontic appliances.본 발명은 플라스틱 치아교정장치의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은, a) 일련의 교정 단계별 치열의 3차원 이미지 데이터 세트를 얻는 단계와, b) 기본 금형을 제조하는 단계와, c) 상기 기본 금형과 이종의 소재로 상기 3차원 이미지 데이터 세트에 속하는 하나의 단계의 치열 형상의 부분 금형을 제조하는 단계와, d) 상기 기본 금형과 상기 부분 금형을 결합하여 그 단계의 치열 금형을 제조하는 단계와, e) 상기 치열 금형을 이용하여 플라스틱 시트를 열성형하여 치열 및 잇몸 형상의 캐비티가 형성된 플라스틱 시트를 제조하는 단계와, f) 상기 캐비티가 형성된 플라스틱 시트에서 일부분을 절단하여 플라스틱 치아교정장치를 제조하는 단계와, g) 상기 기본 금형과 부분 금형을 분리하는 단계와, h) 상기 c) 내지 g) 단계를 반복하여, 일련의 플라스틱 치아교정장치 세트를 제조하는 단계를 포함하는 플라스틱 치아교정장치의 제조방법을 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 플라스틱 치아교정장치의 제조방법은 치열 금형의 제조시 기본 금형을 이용하므로, 수지의 사용량이 최소화된다는 장점이 있다. 따
