PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial and antivirus composition for fiber having suppressed falling or discoloration from a fiber of an antibacterial and antivirus component, capable of maintaining excellent antibacterial and antivirus effect for long time and less in limitation of usable materials.SOLUTION: There is provided an antibacterial and antivirus composition for fiber containing amino acid silver, amino acid zinc such as silver L-pyrrolidone carboxylate or zinc L-pyrrolidone carboxylate and copper ion such as copper pyrrolidone carboxylate. There is provided an antibacterial and antivirus composition for fiber where further the composition contains sulfuric acid and contains N-long chain acylamino potassium, glutamic acid, and preferably contains citric acid.
