Present invention is a stent apparatus (1) in which a stent (3) to scaffold a vessel from the inside is held by a stent covering member (4) comprising: a tubular cartridge (2) expandable and contractible in radial direction, the expansion of which in axial direction orthogonal to the radial direction being restricted a stent formed of a biodegradable polymer as a tubular shape, shape memorized to an expanded size larger than an inner diameter of a target blood vessel in which the stent is to be implanted, and mounted to the tubular cartridge in contracted state and a stent covering member formed of a biodegradable polymer having elasticity as a cylindrical shape having an inner diameter to keep the stent in contracted state by holding an outer surface of the stent and, when the stent is expanded to the shape memorized shape, plastically deformed to release the holding of the stent. The stent is expanded together with the stent covering member along with expansion of the tubular cartridge in radial direction and released together with the stent covering member from the tubular cartridge by contraction of the tubular cartridge in radial direction.본 발명은, 맥관(脈管)을 그 내부로부터 지지하는 스텐트(stent)(3)를 스텐트용 커버 부재(4)에 의해 지지한 스텐트 장치(1)이며, 직경 방향으로 확장 및 수축 가능하며, 축 방향으로의 신장이 규제된 관형(管形) 카트리지(2)와, 생체 흡수성 폴리머 재료에 의해 관형으로 형성되고, 맥관의 내경 이상으로 확경(擴徑)된 크기로 형상 기억되며, 축경(縮徑)되어 관형 카트리지의 외주면에 장착된 스텐트와, 탄성력을 가지는 생체 흡수성 폴리머 재료에 의해 이루어지고, 스텐트를 축경 상태로 지지하는 내주 직경을 가지는 통형으로 형성되고, 스텐트가 형상 기억된 크기로 확경될 때 소성(塑性) 변형하여 스텐트의 지지를 해제하는 스텐트용 커버 부재로 이루어진다. 스텐트는, 관형 카트리지의 직경 방향으로의 확장에 따라 커버 부재와 함께 확경하고, 관형 카트리지의 직경 방향으로의 수축에 의해, 커버 부재와 함께 관형 카트리지로부터 이탈한다.
