A container which does not necessitate stripping of a gas-barrier film and containsnone of a desiccant, an oxygen absorber, and the like. The contents of the containercan be examined with the naked eye. The container (10) is constituted of a frontsheet (20) and a rear sheet (22), the sheets being fusion-bonded so as to form aspace (14) therebetween, wherein the front sheet (20) is constituted of a multilayeredfilm material having a linear-polyolefin layer as the outermost layer, the rearsheet (22) is constituted of a film material, preferably a multilayered film,which has a metal foil, vapor-deposited metal layer, or vapor-deposited inorganiclayer, and a transparent covering sheet (24) comprising a film having a vapor-depositedmetal oxide layer is fusion-bonded to the front sheet (20) so that the outer surfaceof at least that part of the front sheet (20) which forms the space is wholly coveredwith the sheet (24).
