PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for skin which has an excellent in durability of moist feel, and has a good feel due to less friction.SOLUTION: The invention provides an external preparation for skin in which content mass ratio [(B):(C)] of the component (B) and the component (C) is 20:1-5:1, and the following components (A)-(D) is contained:(A) one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of cholesterol and phytosterol (B) a polar oil with an IOB value of 0.3-0.5 containing the following (i) and (ii): (i) a polar oil with an organic value of 250-450 and (ii) N-acylamino acid ester with an organic value of 1000 or more (C) a polyacrylamide compound and (D) phospholipid.SELECTED DRAWING: None
