PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist suit that a worker wears for use and assists work (operation) of the worker by power, which is configured to allow the worker to hold baggage in a condition near a condition that the worker actually holds the baggage with hands.SOLUTION: The assist suit comprises a main body part, an upper arm part, a wire and a hand part 19 to be attached to the back part of a worker. The hand part 19 is raised by winding and driving the wire 18 to the main body part on the basis of a signal from a raising operation part, and the hand part 19 is lowered by feeding and driving the wire 18 from the main body part on the basis of a signal from a lowering operation part. The hand part 19 is provided: with vertically directed side parts 20b and 21c with which the palm of a worker contacts from the outside and a lower part 20c for holding baggage W, which is extended inward from below the side parts 20b and 21c and the forefinger, the middle finger, the ring finger and the little finger of the worker contact from below.
