PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support assisting tool for gripping with surely distributed contact pressure without damaging a slippery, thin and cylindrical object having different diameters.SOLUTION: A support assisting tool of the present invention is characterized in that: a tool is supported with surely distributed contact pressure without damaging a slippery, thin and cylindrical object having different diameters, in which a hand supporting member and a finger supporting member formed of a rubber or the like which are flexible and having a high friction coefficient are connected at center part, deformed about a center part deforming axis, and deformed as a wedge-like support material contact face on an inner face is closed； and a tool can be surely gripped with a support material thereof by one hand in which a projection shape on an outer face of the support assisting tool functions as a slip resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
