PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decontamination method of a radioactive material and a decontamination system thereof capable of not only decontaminating contaminated forests and hills (including copses) but continuously preventing the radioactive material from transferring from its area to residential areas and fields.SOLUTION: A decontamination method of the present invention has processes of: directly spraying inorganic particles adsorbing a radioactive material to at least any of forests and village vicinity mountains contaminated by the radioactive material； applying or spraying and infusing fluid dispersion or suspension containing the inorganic particles； providing a buffer zone containing a coagulant for agglutinating the inorganic particles on the boundary of at least any of the forests and village vicinity mountains and a residential area or fields； agglutinating the inorganic particles flown in the buffer zone by rainwater, or artificial flowing water and a fountain from at least any of the forests and the village vicinity mountains by the coagulant； and separating and recovering the agglutinated inorganic particles with the coagulant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
