The present invention involves systems and methods for fixation of bone fractures closer to joints, using implantable devices, wherein the system comprises of an intramedullary nail with at least one hole on its body, one or more cylindrical body with threading on its surface for locking or interlocking the nail, and one or more hollow screw, whereby the cylindrical body is made to pass through the hole of the intramedullary nail and the hollow screw is fixed into the threaded cylindrical body.
