PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sowing machine to use raising seedling boxes having prescribed width dimensions and to be used in a seedling transplanter and applicable to raising seedling boxes having a plurality of width dimensions.SOLUTION: There is provided a sowing machine constructed of a transfer path (3) receiving, at one end, raising seedling boxes (T) having a prescribed width dimension (W) corresponding to planting interrow space of a seedling transplanter, and individual working devices (6, 7, 8) to perform bed-soil packing, sowing and soil covering work with an action width meeting the width dimension (W) on the transfer path (3). These working devices (6, 7, 8) have respective charging hoppers (54a, 68a, 84a) opening at upper part of the devices, and auxiliary frames (31a, 31b, 31c) attachable to and detachable from the charging hoppers (54a, 68a, 84a).
