PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sweetfish fishing tugboat enabled to open and close a cover by the hand of a fisherman even in the state where the tugboat body is being lifted by said hand.SOLUTION: A sweetfish fishing tugboat 10 comprises: a tugboat body 11 formed in the upper face with an opening 38 communicating with a housing chamber 37 and a water conduction hole 17 formed at the back of the opening for communicating with the housing chamber 37 a lid body 14 made turnable on a portion on the back side of a cross direction for opening and closing the opening 38 and a lock mechanism for locking the lid body 14 in a closed state. The lock mechanism includes: a lock part 41 disposed at the front part of the lid body 14 and protruding from the lid body 14 for changing a state between a lock state, in which the lock mechanism protrudes from the lid body 14 for engaging with the tugboat body 10, and a non-lock state, in which the lock mechanism retracts to the side of the lid body 14 and an operation part 42, which is disposed at the rear end part of the lid body 14 for changing the lock part 42 between the lock state and the unlock state.
