The analyte feeding chamber has an opening (14) that is fittedwith an analyte-permeable membrane (15) in order to allow the analyte to penetratefrom a zone located outside the analyte feeding chamber into the analyte feedingchamber. The maximum area of the opening of the analyte feeding chamber is 400times, preferably 100 times, and most preferably 50 to 80 times the minimum cross-sectionalarea of the discharge pipe. Said device makes it possible to reduce the delay betweenthe time the analyte penetrates the membrane and the time the analyte is detectedon the sensor.
