PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition containing a reducer to reform a keratin fiber by which excellent performance for permanent wave can be achieved while odor and deterioration of the keratin fiber is decreased, and preferably a cosmetic composition.SOLUTION: A composition for a keratin fiber, or preferably a hair comprises: (a) at least one kind of fatty substance preferably in the form of liquid at ambient temperature under atmospheric pressure (b) at least one kind of surfactant, or preferably at least one kind of nonionic surfactant and (c) at least one kind of reducer, wherein amount of (a) the fatty substance is 30 mass% of total mass of the composition or more, or preferably 50 mass% or more and 80 mass% or less.
