PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope and an endoscope system for creating an image corresponding to a different color space.SOLUTION: Because the spectral sensitivity characteristics of a primary color filter 212 are different from those of a complementary color filter, the spectral sensitivity characteristics of the primary color filter and complementary color filter must be taken into consideration to implement high color reproducibility when a primary color space is converted into a complementary color space. Although the luminance values of the complimentary colors can be obtained by simply adding the luminance values of the primary colors, high color reproducibility cannot be implemented only by carrying out the simple addition because the spectral sensitivity characteristics of the primary color filter 212 are different from those of the complementary color filter. For this reason, sensitivity ratios of one color, selected as a reference from among the colors of the primary color filter and from among the colors of the complementary color filter, to the other colors are calculated, conversion factors are determined using the sensitivity ratios, and the luminance value of each color is corrected using the conversion factors. Thus the differences of spectral sensitivity characteristics between the color filters are corrected to implement high color reproducibility.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】異なる色空間に対応した画像を作成する内視鏡及び内視鏡システムを得る。【解決手段】原色系フィルタ212の分光感度特性は補色系フィルタの分光感度特性と異なるため、原色系色空間を補色系色空間に変換する際に高い色再現性を実現するためには、原色系フィルタ及び補色系フィルタの分光感度特性を考慮しなければならない。原色の輝度値を単純に加算しても補色の輝度値を得られるが、原色系フィルタ212の分光感度特性は補色系フィルタの分光感度特性と異なるため、単純に加算しただけでは高い色再現性を実現できない。そこで、原色系フィルタ及び補色系フィルタが有する色のうちの1色を基準として他の色の感度比率を算出し、感度比率を用いて変換係数を求め、変換係数を用いて各色の輝度値を補正する。これにより各フィルタどうしの分光感度特性の相違を補正して高い色再現性を実現する。【選択図】図1
