PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing dazzling is provided to improve work convenience and to enable a user to rapidly execute a self test mode through one touch input.CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing dazzling comprises a light detection unit(20), an electromagnetic wave detection unit(30), an electromagnetic wave sensor(31), a self-diagnosis command input unit(41), a control unit(50), and a light transmission control unit(60). The light detection unit detects the light created from a welding or cutting torch. The electromagnetic wave detection unit compares a resonated signal with a standard value. The electromagnetic wave sensor senses the electromagnetic wave created from the welding or cutting torch. The control unit monitors the change of an inputted electromagnetic wave signal.
