PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus and the like which achieve reduction of the data amount to be calculated or the like.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises an ultrasonic probe, an image generation unit, a light irradiation unit, a plurality of light detection units, and a calculation unit. The ultrasonic probe transmits an ultrasonic wave to a subject from an ultrasonic transmission and reception surface and receives the ultrasonic wave reflected in the subject via the ultrasonic transmission and reception surface. The image generation unit generates an ultrasonic wave by using the ultrasonic wave received by the ultrasonic probe. The plurality of light irradiation units emits light including a plurality of specific wavelength components being absorption wavelength bands of biological components toward the inside of the subject from the circumference of the ultrasonic transmission and reception surface. The control unit drives the plurality of light irradiation units with different frequencies. The plurality of light detection units is arranged in the circumference of the plurality of light irradiation units and detects optical signals with specific wavelength emitted from the plurality of light irradiation units and diffused and reflected in a living body.
