The present invention is directed to use of a herbicide combination forcontrolling harmfulplants in a cereal crop, with the exception of maize and rice crops, whereinthe herbicidecombination comprises a synergistically active content of: (A) a broad-spectrum herbicidewhich is glyphosate, an alkali metal salt thereof, a salt with an amine or asulfosate； and (B) oneor more herbicides which are foliar-acting herbicides which are effectiveselectively in cerealsagainst monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous harmful plants which aretribenuron,amidosulfuron, tritosulfuron, thifensulfuron, cinidon-ethyl or prosulfuron.The presentinvention also encompasses a herbicidal composition which comprises acombination of one ormore such herbicides (A) and one or more herbicides (B) which are tribenuron,amidosulfuron,tritosulfuron, thifensulfuron, cinidon-ethyl or prosulfuron.
