PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorization method of a toilet bowl and the toilet bowl capable of deodorizing odor during and after using the toilet, by collecting the odor in an increasingly efficient and effective way.SOLUTION: A deodorization method is for deodorizing odor inside a toilet bowl body 1 of a toilet bowl, and generates horizontal whirling air flow R1 and a transverse air flow R2, the horizontal whirling air flow whirling horizontally along an inner surface of the toilet bowl body 1 and being formed by blowing out air into the toilet bowl body 1 from an outlet port 17 and sucking the air inside the toilet bowl body 1 from the inlet port 18, and the transverse air flow crossing inside the toilet bowl body 1.
