SOLUTION: An endoscope cap has a bottomed cylindrical cover 52 having an open end portion 56 and a window portion 53 opening to a side surface, which can be attached to and detached from a tip of an insertion portion 30 of the endoscope. And a notch 54 formed in a taper shape from the opening end 56 side toward the window 53, and a raising base arranged inside the cover 52, and the notch 54 covers the cover.
