PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowerpot capable of solving the problems that a temperature rise in the pot must be prevented in summer and putrefaction of a stock base and a root base must be prevented from spring to early autumn and water must be supplied form root tip, especially in the rainy season, and further solving the problems that fresh water must be continuously supplied to a plant and the plant must be prevented from drying and freezing in winter, in order to culture plants which are difficult to culture, e.g. alpine plants for a long period. SOLUTION: This flowerpot having single structure in upper part and having double structure in lower part, integrally formed in cylindrical state at lower or higher position than the position of the opening peripheral edge on the inside of flowerpot having a hole in the bottom and wholly composed of water- permeable raw material is provided.
