PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wood conversion support equipment which can grasp a wood conversion position to cut and bring down a round timber having higher value and can estimate value of a standing timber with high accuracy without felling the standing timber actually.SOLUTION: Wood conversion support equipment comprises: a circle group data processing unit (20) acquiring coordinate information indicating a shape of a standing timber a wood conversion position simulation unit (22) specifying a wood conversion position of a round timber which can be cut from a standing timber as a simulation a camber calculation unit (23) calculating maximum camber of the round timber and a wood conversion position determination unit (27) determining a wood conversion position to cut the round timber in which the maximum camber becomes lowest or value of the round timber becomes highest on the basis of the maximum camber as an optimum wood conversion position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】実際に立木を伐倒せずとも、より価値の高い丸太を切り出すための採材位置を把握し、立木の価値を精度良く見積もることを可能とする採材支援装置を提供する。【解決手段】立木の形状を示す座標情報を取得する円群データ処理部(20)と、立木から切り出し可能な丸太の採材位置を模擬的に指定する採材位置模擬部(22)と、丸太の最大矢高を算出する矢高算出部(23)と、最大矢高が最小となる丸太、または、最大矢高に基づいて評価された丸太の価値が最も高くなる丸太を切り出すための採材位置を、最適採材位置として決定する採材位置決定部(27)と、を備えている。【選択図】図1
