Acrylic polymer material, hydrophobic and crosslinked, of increased deformability, intended for the realization of ophthalmological implants and more particularly intraocular lenses, material that is presented in the form of a three-dimensional macromolecular network obtained by radical polymerization from a mixture of acrylic monomers or a mixture of acrylic and methacrylic monomers, characterized in that the mixture contains: - crosslinking compounds that act during polymerization to form the three-dimensional network; and in addition - at least one transfer agent that locally disrupts the formation of this three-dimensional network during polymerization to create pendant chains.Material polímero acrílico, hidrófobo y reticulado, de deformabilidad incrementada, destinado a la realización de implantes oftalmológicos y más particularmente de lentes intraoculares, material que se presenta en forma de red macromolecular tridimensional obtenido por polimerización radicalaria a partir de una mezcla de monómeros acrílicos o de una mezcla de monómeros acrílicos y metacrílicos, caracterizado por el hecho de que la mezcla contiene: - compuestos reticulantes que actúan durante la polimerización para formar la red tridimensional; y además - al menos un agente de transferencia que interrumpe localmente la formación de esta red tridimensional durante la polimerización para crear cadenas colgantes.
