The invention relates to composition 1 in the form of a gel. Said composition is suitable for topical application and is made up of: between 1 and 40% NaCl, between 0.5 and 10% hydroxyethyl cellulose, or between 20 and 50% sodium lauryl ether sulfate or sodium lauryl sulfate； water； and optionally, a perfuming agent and/or at least one keratolytic agent and/or at least one essential oil and/or colloidal silica. The invention also relates to the use of said composition as a material for topical application on the skin, hair and nails, mucous membranes, or scalp to prevent and treat parasitoses and skin disorders in general.
