To provide an electronic cassette capable of performing stable radio communication regardless of a use environment.SOLUTION: A housing 16 of an electronic cassette 10 comprises an inclined surface 65 formed between a side surface 23 and a back surface 21, and is inclined to the side surface 23 and the back surface 21. On the inclined surface 65, an antenna opening 66 for transmitting an electric wave EW, is formed. Since the antenna opening 66 is formed on the inclined surface 65, the antenna opening is not closed by back plates 49A, 49B of a holder 47A for a standing position photography platform 46A and a holder 47B of a decubitus position photography platform 46B, and is not closed by a side plate part 59 of an external grid 55. Even when the electronic cassette 10 is set on the holders 47A, 47B or the external grid 55 is attached to the electronic cassette 10, stable radio communication is achieved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6【課題】使用環境によらず安定した無線通信を行うことが可能な電子カセッテを提供する。【解決手段】電子カセッテ１０の筐体１６は、側面２３と背面２１との間に形成され、側面２３および背面２１に対して傾斜した傾斜面６５を有する。傾斜面６５には、電波ＥＷを透過させるためのアンテナ用開口部６６が形成されている。アンテナ用開口部６６は傾斜面６５に形成されているので、立位撮影台４６Ａのホルダ４７Ａや臥位撮影台４６Ｂのホルダ４７Ｂの背板４９Ａ、４９Ｂで塞がれることがなく、また、外付けグリッド５５の側板部５９で塞がれることもない。電子カセッテ１０がホルダ４７Ａ、４７Ｂにセットされた場合や電子カセッテ１０に外付けグリッド５５が取り付けられた場合でも、安定した無線通信を行うことができる。【選択図】図６
