PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner indoor unit that can improve detection accuracy by detecting a contamination degree by reliably selecting a place where air flow is generated, without being affected by the air flow associated with air conditioning operation.SOLUTION: A gas sensor to detect a contamination degree of indoor air and a contamination degree display portion to display the contamination degree of the indoor air are provided in the side portion of an air outlet 6 so as to be lined up each other. An air inflow hole for leading the indoor air to the gas sensor is provided at a portion spaced apart from the air outlet.
